These six utterances — the Sadhya-Nirdesh — are the supreme philosophical declarations of Maa Anandamayi. They are the living seed of all her teachings on Absolute Consciousness.
एकं ब्रह्म द्वितीयं नास्ति।
There is only One Brahma — there is no second.
जहाँ एकब्रह्मबोध है वहाँ कुछ छूटता नहीं।
Where there is the awareness of One Brahma, nothing is left out.
अपने को पाना माने भगवान् को पाना,
भगवान् को पाना माने अपने को पाना।
To find oneself is to find God; to find God is to find oneself.
सब भगवान् है।
Everything is God.
भगवान् है – जो कहो वही;
एक और अनन्त।
God is — whatever you call It; One and Infinite.
आत्मा है– 'जो है सो',
'जैसा है वैसा' – 'या ता'
The Self is — 'that which is', 'as it is' — 'Ya Ta'.

Guardian of the Teachings

Who We Are
ISMAAC is dedicated to the study, preservation, and worldwide sharing of the extraordinary consciousness of Maa Anandamayi (1896–1982). Unlike general devotional organisations, our focus is singular: the nature of consciousness itself as lived and demonstrated by this unique being.
Drawing from primary sources — the four volumes of Vachanamrit, the eight parts of Shri Bhagvat Guru Geeta, and the philosophical text Ek Vyakti Shunya Chetna Ki Leela Katha — we present her consciousness not as a doctrine, but as a living reality to be explored.
